Annual Seed Blends

Blend #1: Broccoli & Brussel Sprouts

This blend of Waltham 29 Broccoli & Groninger Brussel Sprouts is an excellent blend for small plots or home gardens.  Both have stocky, thick 20" stalks (broccoli has multiple heads 6" across).  Very high protein blend, these brassicas are relished by both humans and deer beginning in late October and continuing through winter.  Great results starting individual plants inside and transplanting them out to gardens or food plots in spring or autumn.  Blend matures between 90 and 110 days.

Blend #6 Japanese Buckwheat & Crimson Clover

This fast growing annual blend is formulated to help prepare a site for a future perennial planting.  It grows tall and thick for the first year, attracting wildlife ranging from birds and bees to deer, bear and turkey.  It helps to loosen and break up tough-planting soil and adds valuable nutrients to the soil when tilled under the following spring.  Recall that extreme growing conditions require forethought and planning if micro-plot longevity is a goal.  Don't fight your site, let your environment do the work for you!
*** Will add Hairy Vetch to this blend upon request.
