Buck's Bedroom Plan
The buck's Bedroom plan is designed to meet every buck's need for security while maximizing the quality and quantity of forage available to them. Whether they're coming out of a rough winter, growing antlers through spring and summer, or building reserves for the coming winter, you'll provide the optimal micro-habitat that will not only hold bucks, but will also promote their daytime movements.
Though designed for hunters seeking to fill their tag while "giving something back to their wildlife", this plan can also be used by non-hunters with a desire to increase buck health and longevity in known buck habitat.

Doe & Fawn Survival Plan
In the Northeast our wildlife species are at the mercy of harsh winters and short growing seasons. These seasonal constraints directly influence the health and longevity of does and fawns. Because there is a growing concern for doe and fawn survival, this plan considers the early spring needs of lactating does and maximizing the health of their newborn fawns. This plan also considers the nutritional requirements of both does and fawns through the remaining portion of the growing season as they approach winter.

While implementing either the Buck or Doe Plans on your property, you'll often find the blueprints for security/cover and forage are quite similar. This dual purpose is very beneficial to both you and your wildlife and has proven itself to be a very efficient land-use practice. In the end, a perfect Buck's Bedroom scenario (habitat niche) may be just as useful to a doe raising twins as a monster buck lounging around growing his antlers.
